The MC6-HT is the angled version of the MC6. By designing the speaker with a fixed tweeter and woofer angle, we were able to tune the performance of the speaker far more accurately than universal pivoting designs. The MC6-HT is recommended for applications where the listener will spend most of their time not directly underneath the speaker. For example, when being used as the front or center speaker in a home theater, the listener is typically around 10 feet or farther away, yet typical in ceiling speakers are pointing straight down placing the sweet spot directly in front of the screen. By angling the drivers towards the listener, a very noticeable increase in performance is realized.

If you desire even more output and bass response than the MC6, the 8 MC8 is the obvious choice. Featuring the same Folded Motion Tweeter and woven fiberglass woofer as the rest of the Motion CI models, the MC8 is all about more. The smaller of the two LCR models in the Motion XT CI series, the XTW5-LCR functions equally well as a center, front or surround channel, or anywhere higher performance and/or a more rectangular shape is desired.
