The BlackRaven S is the consistent advancement of the legendary former Ayon ceramic loudspeaker series (Seagull, Hawk, Falcon, and Eagle) anno 2003 – 2010. Only 9 years later with the new ceramic chassis technology we could develop further the loudspeaker decisively mounting ceramic chassis. Implementing specially produced special impedance bass-chassis-coils we could draw the impedance up and design the acoustic 6dB-cross-over much simpler.

The Ayon CD-35 II establishes a new benchmark in SE-Triode vacuum-tube CD-Player performance by combining a fully balanced PCM-DSD DAC.

The CD-35 II is also prepared for computer/music server playback and DSD professional audio.  The CD-35 II is in many respects a new ground-breaking CD-Player design with an advanced technology with a new vacuum tube output stage, new magnetic integral clamp system, new DAC design and a switchable True PCM-DSD converter (DSP module).

Whipped up by the great success of the CD-35 we got more and more requests to launch a special and limited Version of the CD-35, quasi a "digital" machine that should as "analogue" as never before. All music lovers engaged in top analogue turntables and/or reel-to-reel tape recorders also may feel to be approached. Many ideas, thoughts, suggestions, and a dedicated assistance of the people of the HighFidelity.pl magazine also were incorporated in the CD-35 HF project. Based upon the existing CD-35 technology every detail was re-examined carefully, refined, high-selected, re-adjusted, and the best-sounding components were implemented at the decisive points of the circuitry. Also, its slightly modified appearance, equipped with additional black elements, underline the exclusivity.

After more than 5 years’ production time of the CD-T, and its unsurpassed success, we have decided to essentially rework it and equip it with some special features. We have kept the legendary Philips Pro drive (in our opinion one of the best sounding CD-drive ever built and reissued again), the dual digital tube buffer with 6H14 (operating in the MHz range) and of course the typical elegant and timeless “Ayon” chassis. Special attention was paid to the new clocking system, the modified power supply, the new dual ground system and the possibility of raising the bitrate of the CD to DSD 128 by means of our DSD-converter module (optional).
