The UDP900's all-aluminum alloy body and a reinforced double-layer chassis structure provides incredible stability for reliable playback of any disc you can throw at it.

Equipped with the latest designed 6-layer gold immersion main PCB circuit with a high precision power supply, the UDP900 comes with Murata multilayer ceramic capacitor TDK magnetic devices and 30 NCC electrolytic capacitors which further improve audio and video quality.

Universal Disc Player

The UDP900 is a universal disc player, meaning it not only plays 4K Blu-ray discs, but also supports regular Blu-rays, 3D Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, SACDs, and even media files with H265 & H264 support.

HDR Technology

The UDP900 supports high dynamic image formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HDR10 with stunning HDR to SDR conversion, with BT.2020/BT.709/BT.601 colour space support. HDR brings eye-popping brightness, contrast and gorgeous colours to your media, bringing out the full richness of each frame like never before*.

4K Upscaling

In addition to playing native 4K Blu-ray discs, the UDP900 can convert standard-resolution video sources up to 4K 50/60Hz (3840 x 2160) resolution. Four times the resolution of full HD 1080p, enhancing your home video experience.

A Master of Audio

The UDP900 supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, enabling you to enjoy the best panoramic and immersive sound experience.

Audio Connectivity

In addition to running audio through the HDMI output(s), the UDP900 also enables audio to be routed directly to amplifiers with two DACs built in. The ESS9038PRO D/A decodes for the 2-channel XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced outputs. Ideal for connecting to a hi-fi system. The ESS9028PRO D/A decodes for the 7.1 RCA outputs for connection to a multichannel system.

The UDP900 also supports XMOS USB Audio via the type-B input.

High Fidelity Lossless Music

In addition, the UDP900 features support for high-end audio playback. It can decode DSD64/128, multichannel DSD64, and 192kHz/24-bit PCM formats with FLAC, WAV, APE and more.

Premium Digital to Analog Converter

For Pure Audio playback, UDP900 specifically adopts a 6-layer gold immersion main PCB circuit board where each channel is designed with independent wiring. Two independent Sabre DAC processors are used for two-channel D/A decoding, and multi-channel D/A deconding.

Dual Power Supply Design

MAGNETAR employs a specially selected custom 60W high-power low noise transformer for the UDP900, with a two-stage filter design along with Japanese Rubycon electrolytic capacitors to meet the high transient response required by surround sound systems and high-resolution audio. Housed in it's own separate metal case to further lower noise levels, providing stability and silence, further improving audio and video quality.

Full Multimedia Experience

The UDP900 supports multiple disc and media formats, such as UHD-BD, BD, BD-R, BD-RE, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, SACD, CD, CD-R/RW. In addition, USB HDDs up to 16TB are supported with direct access from your computer or NAS through your local network using DLNA or SMB protocols.
