Unison Research, founded in 1987 by a group of audiophile technicians, are a prestigious Italian manufacturer of valve-based premium high fidelity audio components. Specialising in the design and construction of amplifiers, CD players, headphone amps and phono stages that boast not only impeccable, effortlessly rich sound but also an artistic visual design.
This is a new version of the popular integrated valve amplifier incorporating many design improvements and new styling to make the finished product better sounding and better looking. Featuring Parallel Single Ended Ultra-Pure Class A output stage developing 30W per channel, the Unison Research S6 has the power to fill your room with detailed, transparent sound.
To enable the best matching to speakers in the range 4 to 8 ohms impedance, the output transformer is a new design and has a fixed output impedance of 6 ohms. The pre-amp power supply has been designed to give minimum hum by implementing multiple filters to reduce ripple. Five line level inputs provide ample connections for your stereo sources.
