Melody DPM80 Integrated Tube Amplifier

The Melody DPM80 integrated tube amplifier is the power house in our mid-range amplifiers. This tube amp offers an output power of 2x 75 watts strong Class B amplification. The DPM80 is our mid-range integrated amp and for this price range you can expect quite a punch. The amp is as such made for music lovers who love a tight bass.

It is driven by 4x KT150 power amplification tubes and with it’s 2x 75 watts a great tube amp for those who require some power. Added to the line-up are also 4x DF184 tubes and 1x the WE407.The DPM80 is best paired with speakers that require quite some power and have a low sensitivity. Nevertheless due to their power they can drive a very wide range of speakers with ease.

Just like all Melody amps (except the Action series) the AN300B MAX has this very simplistic but also refined quality to it’s build. Offering you only the best tube sound without being too shiny or in your face bulky. With quality light-wooden sides and a silver aesthetic it surely looks great in every hifi setup. On the front panel you can find two luxurious reading windows on which you can adjust the bias. This can simply be done with the marked spots for a screwdriver next to the windows.

The Melody DPM80 contains only the highest quality components such as Realcap capacitors and an ALPS potentiometer. All of those are wired in the air for the most part is the guarantee of exemplary reliability. The transformers output are of the EI type, specially designed for the power supply.

Melody Hifi produces all amps by hand with the finest point-to-point wiring. Bias control is accessible on top of the amplifier panel with true ampere meter.

The Melody DPM80 has a soft start and time-delay circuit of 30 seconds.
