The SV-228 is the successor to the SV-227MK, which was one of Vincent's most successful integrated amplifiers.

This amp is the ideal partner for high-end DVD players, CD players, tuners, and loudspeakers. In combination with beautiful Hi-Fi furniture and quality speaker cable, you can build a perfectly harmonious and powerful system.

Tube & Transistor Amplification

The main focus of Vincent's development on this unit has been on the hybrid amplifier circuitry which combines the advantages of both transistor and valve amplifiers. This hybrid technology is what makes it possible to drive most common loudspeakers with power that seems almost effortless. Hear the warm and smooth tube sound combined with transistor dynamics and power.

Analogue & Digital Inputs

Selecting your source and adjusting your sound couldn't be easier with this unit. With diverse analogue, digital, and wireless connection options, this integrated amplifier is perfect for hooking up a CD player or DVD player for a truly spectacular stereo experience.

In addition to the analogue RCA connections, the SV-228 features two digital inputs for connecting sources such as digital CD players or other components. These connections have superseded the USB input that was present on the original model, and add plenty more connectivity options to the integrated amp.

New to the SV-228 is the Bluetooth connection. With a dedicated BT antenna, the SV-228 ensures a strong and stable connection when paired with your compatible device. Stream music to the integrated amplifier from your phone, computer, or another compatible device.

Main In / Pre-Out

New to the SV-228 is the Home Theatre Bypass feature. Via the Main Input connection, you can feed the SV-228 the stereo pre-out signal from another amplifier or receiver, taking advantage of the superior processing and amplification of the SV-228. This connectivity feature is popular among users who have a surround sound system and a high-end 2-channel system in the same space.

Conversely, with the SV-228's stereo Pre-Out connections, this unit can be used as a dedicated pre-amplifier, to be connected to a separate power amplifier. With the Rec-Out connections, it can be bridged to the "Line-In" connection on another device.

Speaker A/B Terminals

On the back panel, you'll find two pairs of high-quality speaker binding posts per channel. These output sockets with screw clamps can be used to connect two pairs of loudspeakers. Use the switch on the front panel to select between connected speaker pairs, or run both at once for a multi-room hi-fi experience.

Watch Your Tone

A feature that's now expected from Vincent's integrated amplifiers is switchable tone controls. The front of this unit features controls for the treble and bass, which can be bypassed with a single button for the direct sound. Finely tune the tone of your system to perfectly compliment the sonic characteristics of your room, and switch it on and off with a single button.
