The overachieving 2MR Blue uses the same structures as its award-winning sibling 2MR Red, but adds an upgrade in the form of a highly polished nude-elliptical stylus for better tracking and quieter reproduction. In addition to enhanced resolution and openness, it reaches deeper into your records' grooves. Balanced, controlled, and smooth, 2MR Blue represents one of the biggest analog values on the planet.

Ortofon's trademark quad-coils motor system and split pole pins enable flat frequency response, just like that of a moving-coil cartridge. Plus, 2MR Blue is compatible with Ortofon 2M replacement styli and mounts easily and quickly, via two screws.

The 2M Blue features a Nude Elliptical diamond and split pole pins with a copper wire.

The 2M Blue adds more dynamics and resolution, sounds more open and reproduces more details compared to the 2M Red model.
