Flax Technology: The Sub 1000 F boasts a 30cm diameter Flax membrane bass speaker cone, an environmentally-friendly textile known for its exceptional stiffness and lightness. This unique material ensures precise, distortion-free sound reproduction, setting a new standard for subwoofers. The 'Dual Magnet' dual driver provides extraordinary power while maintaining excellent linearity.

1,000 Watts BASH® Amplifier: With an integrated 1,000 Watts BASH® super-powerful amplifier, this subwoofer allows the 30cm woofer to unleash its full potential. The sealed construction delivers extended bass response, compact size, and minimal interference, resulting in pure, harmonious sound.

Flax Cone Evolution: The cone membrane in the Sub 1000 F features a new, more rigid construction, evolved from the Flax cones developed for the Aria 900 speaker range. It combines two sheets of 160 g/m2 fiberglass with a 250 g/m2 flax core, ensuring durability and meeting the demands of subwoofers.

Dynamic, Controlled Bass: The Sub 1000 F features a coil/driver unit optimized to keep the coil temperature low, resulting in well-articulated bass, enhanced dynamics, and substantial SPL power (103.5 dB / 1 m @ 40Hz).

Custom Spider/Suspension: Focal's Research & Development team designed a custom spider/suspension for the Sub 1000 F, ensuring precise control over its dynamic behavior. This meticulous engineering guarantees consistently controlled bass, even with extended travel (up to 43 mm).
