Newly designed extremely precise power supply unit and speed controller designed and created by Transrotor especially for the FMD (free magnetic drive) series turntables.

The non-plus-ultra. The best motor control unit we offer. In addition to the even more precise control and synchronization the FMD power supply lets the turntable motor(s) slowly start combined with high torque, the slow start process protects bearings, belts and motor(s).

The line frequency typically fluctuates about 5%. When using the standard non-regulated Transrotor power supply unit this directly affects the turntable's speed accuracy since the line frequency is the timing reference for the AC motor used by the turntable.

The Transrotor | Konstant FMD Reference regulated power supply unit and speed controller generates the required frequency itself and with great precision and accuracy, totally independent of AC line quality. The increase in sonic performance is very noticeable indeed.
